The National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) is a Directorate in the Ministry of General Education and Instruction in the Republic of South Sudan. It was established under Article (52), paragraph 39 of the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan 2012, Laws of the Republic of South Sudan and the resolution No. 145/2015 of the Council of Ministers Republic of South Sudan.

Roles

National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC)

The NCDC is responsible for curriculum development, publication and provision of advice on teaching material. Therefore, the mandate of NCDC is to design and develop educational programs and material for Early Childhood Development (ECD), Primary, Alternative Education System AES, Secondary and Technical Secondary Schools, Vocational Education and Training (TVET. The NCDC Directorate is headed by Director General Mr. Omot Okony Olok. Within the Directorate there are four departments they are:

  3. 3. Department of External Relations and Partners
  4. 4. Department Administrations and Finance
